BEAVER DAM — Betty Jamison Maupin died on Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018. Ms. Maupin was born on March 12, 1933, on the family farm in Horton to the late John and Nanallee Black. She was retired from Kentucky Utilities.Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Monroe Jamison Sr.; her son, Monroe Jamison Jr. and her granddaughter, Rye Indigo Wilder.
Survivors include her husband, Bernard Maupin; daughter, Becky (Phil) Wilder; daughter-in-law, Daveena Sexton; step-daughters, Julie Welch and Carol Maupin; step-sons, Darryl (Dinah) Maupin and Marty Maupin; seven grandchildren, Jessie Wilder, Zach (Jennifer) Wilder, Hannah (Russell Waddell) Jamison, Blake (Abby) Leach, Nicklaus and Natalie Maupin and Lauren Maupin; four great- grandchildren, Jamie, Leo, Grayson and Juliette; two brothers, Conner Black and Bobby Charles Black and two sisters, JoAnne Westerfield and Paula Boyd.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Glenn Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. Wednesday and 9 A.M. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
