CENTRAL CITY – Daviess County’s Daniel Love carded a 1-under-par 70 on Saturday (Sept. 15) to take medalist honors and lead his Panthers squad to the team championship at the Muhlenberg County Mustangs Invitational golf tournament at Central City Country Club.
The Panthers finished with a team score of 305 as Jesse Holton (78), Nick Johnson (78) and Brady Huckelberry (79) rounded out their scoring. Marshall County was the runner-up with a team score of 313. Camdyn McLeod led the Marshals with a 74, which was good for third place individually. Tyler Powell (77), Jay Nimmo (78) and Nathan Clark (84) were Marshall’s other scorers.
Hopkinsville’s Jay Folz carded a 72 to finish second behind Love in the individual competition.
