Domestic Violence Leads to Arrest of Beaver Dam Man

Monday, November 12, the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of a domestic disturbance in which a male suspect had held his girlfriend against her will and assaulted her. The victim was able to escape and was picked up by a motorist driving down the road.

Through further investigation Detectives with the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office were able to obtain a search warrant and an arrest warrant for the suspect, Timothy Willoughby of Beaver Dam.

During the execution of the search warrant, the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police were able to locate Timothy Willoughby inside his home. Willoughby was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Ohio County Detention Center.

Willoughby was arrested and charged with the following:

Rape, 1st Degree- Domestic Violence
Kidnapping- Adult
Wanton Endangerment- 1st Degree
Sodomy, 1st Degree- Domestic Violence
Assault 2nd Degree
Terroristic threatening, 3rd Degree
